The Rifted Rock

“The Rifted Rock” an arrangement for a pedal harp duet (also suitable for lever harp) was arranged at a time of inner unrest. Often there are open questions or unresolved problems that don’t allow one to find rest. They rob us of the joy in everyday life and close our eyes to the many beautiful things that are happening around us. How can one maintain calm and inner peace? I (Eline) was faced with this question again and again in the past year 2024. One day, I came home and sat down at the harp. God placed the following song on my heart with these comforting lyrics by Mary D. James and the beautifully framing melody by William Warren Bentley. May it be a blessing to many.
