Hi, there! Nice to meet you! We are the King family and live in Heartfield. We are an ordinary family. Okay, maybe not that ordinary after all. There is something special about us: we are children of God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, saved us, so we are part of His family! Isn’t that wonderful?
Jesus is not only our Savior, but also the King of kings.
That’s why we think it’s so meaningful that we’re called the King family. Every day we read the Bible together. It’s God’s Word to us. There are many stories in the Bible about people who had extraordinary experiences with God. These are exciting stories.
Father
My name is Andrew King and I’m the father of a lively gang of kids. I work as a teacher and enjoy spending my free time with my family. We like to sing, play, and sometimes go on hikes together. I especially value our daily family devotions when we read the Bible together.
Mother
Hello, my name is Lisa King. Before Ben was born, I worked as a nurse. For twelve years now, I’ve traded that job with what I consider the most beautiful calling in the world: being a mother. I love to care for my family, talk to them about God, and read or do crafts. I also enjoy baking. Since there’s always something going on in our family, I rarely get bored.

Hi, I’m Ben. I’m twelve and the oldest of the King kids. I love building with LEGO® —especially the “Technic” sets. Right now I’m working on a big racecar.
Emma
I’m Emma. I’m eight years old and I love to play the harp. Once a week I go to a riding stable to look after the horses and ride my favorite Haflinger mare, Penny.
Mia
My name is Mia and I’m six already. I enjoy playing with my five dolls. I also love to help Mom with baking—of course, tasting the dough is my favorite part.
Noah
I’m Noah and I’m four years old. I love my teddy, Bernie, and I really enjoy looking at books. When I grow up, I want to be a teacher, just like Dad.
Lucas
I’m Lucas. I’m four. Noah and I are twins. We often race on our balance bikes. Of course, I always win!
