Why memorize Bible verses?

• They are God’s Word.
• Memorizing God’s Word strengthens your faith and builds your relationship with God.
• What you know deep in your heart, no one can take away.

How does it work?

1. Hang the poster in a place where you will see it often.
2. Read the Bible verses several times a day (or have them read to you) while pointing (e.g. with a pointer) to each picture in turn.
   TIP: Review the verses at a set time during the day. That way it becomes part of your daily routine.

3. Try to say the verses without looking at the poster.
4. When you have memorized the verses, practice saying them away from the poster.
5. Share God’s Word with others e.g. by reciting verses in church or for your grandparents.
